Erik Boman is a researcher in the Scalable Algorithms Department at Sandia. He is the Sandia PI for the CSCAPES SciDAC institute. He has a MS (Cand.Scient.) in Computer Science (Informatics) from University of Bergen, Norway (1992), and a PhD in Scientific Computing from Stanford University (1999). Dr. Boman's research interests are in combinatorial scientific computing, parallel computing, numerical linear algebra, and optimization.
