Lisa Ann Mondy
Lisa Mondy is a Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, Sandia National Laboratories, where she has worked in the areas of fluid mechanics and heat transfer for the last 26 years. For the last 15 years she has focused primarily on the area of suspension rheology, although her other interests include experimental methods, aerosol particulate flow, and finite element and boundary element analyses. She has recently been involved in developing predictive tools for well completion processes in the oil and gas industry and for manufacturing processes of potting and encapsulating electronic components in polymer composites. Currently her work is focused on multiscale modeling of suspensions of particles in liquids and liquid/gas foams. In addition she holds a patent on a means to align suspended fibers in reinforced composites.
